Bounty from an Untended Field

The accumulation of all I’ve done
Sum of my experiences, each and every one
Work I’ve done is the judgement of my worth
People I’ve loved are its measure, from death to rebirth

Connections I made without any regrets
My friends and my family, all my associates
These are proof of things I understand now
The logic used, that once I would disavow

Things I held so dear and precious to me
Let critics judge, it is what I want them to see
Open and vulnerable to their judgmental attack
But indestructible by the claiming of these things I lack

Accepting what the universe generously has to give
To attain what is missing from a life I hope to live
Open to ancient beliefs, older than any I’ve known
No naïve innocent, I’m maturing and becoming fully grown

I see a world now with a future that’s bright
Optimistic about the wonders I know are right
Believing positive action brings an equal positive
Knowing nothing is more true, real and relative

I shed all that is negative, with its’ destructive powers
I’m guided by the beacons from four mystical Towers
Love and kindness are my new touchstones
Mystical wisdom implanted deep inside my bones

A shared greater love, from a source far outside me
That gives me affirmative truth, a loving decree
From the God and Goddess, knowing and wise
Personal yet universal, with an infinite size

Unfettered by boarder and human limit
The pinnacle of truth, a holy honest summit
It is higher than any known earthy peak
This is the towering truth of which I speak

As an atheist I was blinded by my cynicism
Eyes cast inward could only see the darkness within them
And where willfully unaware of any outside light
Forced by stubborn reasoning, I would always fight

Subject to my destructive navel gazing
Never to perceive what was truly amazing
Shrugging my shoulders, believing all inevitable
Not seeing the magical and all that is incredible

These Divine forces moving beyond my perception
Influencing all and immune to cynical deception
Awaken, I am motivated by this loving creed
I’m fertile soil to be sown with this magical seed

I now know that love is the law, its will must be done
Knowledge accepted will make me an enlightened one
All surrounding me is ruled by the logic I’ve stated
Subject to its reason, proof that all action is related

No longer merely amused by wrongs that chaotically stir
I’ve found an ordered solution when problems occur
Come courageously joining me in this bold undertaking
We’ll change the world together, to one of our making

A Divine love growing into a vibrant Life Tree
Landscape this garden, make it what we want it to be
Rooted in knowledge and compassionately planted
Its’ beautiful blooms are the love that’s been granted

Now I am a farmer of this once barren soil
The field will be verdant where we will toil
Rich and accepting earth to plant our crop
The yield uninterred, abundant and will not stop

I will joyfully reap this mystical harvest
Knowing it is worthy of the time I invest
I will gather the logic, collect and bind
The fruit of truth that nourishes my mind

Sing glory to the God and the Goddess
I am the true believer without protest
Not an innocent faith without question
A reasoned belief with pure intention

This is a belief that will certainly hold
Proved by lessons learned from time of old
The Divine is the sun that gives me warm love
Truth shown in wisdom below and above

Let my true loving nature come to flower
Divinely inspired with magical power
Grown with the care of mystical dominion
Hail the God and Goddess and their loving compassion
